To create a visually appealing and welcoming environment within Sea & Sky’s lobby, Auyin commissioned two breathtaking sculptures from renowned sculptural artist, Pietro Giordano.
Pietro was born in Italy, migrating to Australia in the late 60’s. From a young age, Pietro loved to explore his creativity, drawing on the Mediterranean culture he experienced as a child.
Inspired by the raw, earthy landscapes of his hometown in Sicily, Pietro’s pieces depict the strong connection between the human entity, the diversity of natural and urban landscapes, and the effects of time.
Taking pride of place in the Sea & Sky lobby, the sculptures offer a striking presence, presenting a celebration of minimalism, texture, and abstract art.
